Blidinje Nature Park – Bosnia & Herzegovina
It is a spacious valley, 3–5 km long, situated at an elevation of 1.150-1.300 meters a.s.l., between Čvrsnica and Vran mountains with a total area of 364 km² and 3 municipalities of Posušje, Tomislavgrad and Jablanica. Wilderness area with a lake in a glacial valley at 1,184m altitude with Roman trails & wildflowers.
About the shot: This beautiful valley is a paradise for landscape photography. The valley is spread as far as your eyes can see, only few settlement are scattered widely upon the national park of Blidinje. To get there is a bit tricky as the pavement road is uneven and an off road vehicle would be highly recommended, although I drove from Sarajevo several hours on my small Italian city-car risking to damage the tyres and the car.
